Nigeria’ll Be Great Under Tinubu, Shettima – Speaker Aspirant, Gagdi Reveals

A frontline contender for the Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, has said President Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, have what it takes to correct the wrongs done by previous administrations.

He expressed great confidence that with Tinubu’s dexterity in governance and leadership, Nigeria was on a path to positive change.

Gagdi, who currently represents Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency of Plateau State in the 9th House of Representatives, spoke in a congratulatory message he signed.

“The new President has the capacity to right the wrongs of previous administrations and ensure that competent hands are engaged to revive comatose sectors of the country”,

He said.

The Chairman, House Committee on Navy said Tinubu’s political journey to the presidency was a deeply inspirational one that proves that, with grit, sincerity of purpose, absolute trust in God and an unwavering commitment to empowering others, one can attain the greatest heights.

He expressed confidence in his ability to deliver on the promise of democracy to the Nigerian people because his track record shows excellence and dedication to duty.

Gadgi commended Vice President Kashim Shettima, who he said led Borno State at the darkest and most difficult of times, and did not for once, desert his people or renege on his responsibilities.

According to him,

Terrorists Abduct APC Women Leaders Hours After Attending Inauguration

Families of two All Progressives Congress (APC) women leaders who were allegedly abducted by terrorists in Kaduna State; have appealed to the authorities to come to their rescue.

Journalists were told on Wednesday in Kaduna that the 2 women who were women leaders in the APC, Hajiya Lami Awarware and her assistant, Hajiya Haulatu Aliyu, were now in captivity and no one was contacted over their matter.

According to the chairman of Birnin Gwari Emirate Progressive Union (BEPU, Ishaq Usman Kasai, the women leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna state were kidnapped along the Manini flash point of Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of the state after attending the inauguration of the state governor, Senator Uba Sani.”

“The bandits blocked the road and kidnapped the two APC women leaders including dozens of others. The kidnapped women leaders are Birnin Gwari APC women leader, Hajiya Lami Awarware and her assistant, Hajiya Haulatu Aliyu,” he alleged.

‘After they were kidnapped on Tuesday, the kidnappers took them to the forest. The abductors are yet to contact the families of the victims or any person in the area.”

The police and APC officials in Kaduna State were yet to react to the incident.

For some time, fleeing terrorists were reported to have encircled Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area, after migrating from neighbouring Zamfara state due to land and air bombardment by the Nigerian military.

Trump Vows To Stop Nigerians, Others From Getting US Birthright Citizenship If Reelected

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has vowed to stop Nigerians and other illegal immigrants from getting citizenship for their children born in the United States, on “day one” of his presidency if he wins the 2024 election.

Speaking in a statement on Tuesday, May 31, Trump claimed the constitutional guaranteeing of U.S. citizenship for anyone born on U.S. soil, regardless of their parents’ immigration status, was “not working”.

“As part of my plan to secure the border, on day one of my new term in office, I will sign an executive order making clear to federal agencies that under the correct interpretation of the law, going forward, the future children of illegal aliens will not receive automatic U.S. citizenship.

It’s things like this that bring millions of people to our country,” he said.

You Wanted Me Dead Because You’re Owing Me – Seun Kuti Tackles Tunde Ednut

Seun Kuti, Nigerian musician and the youngest son of the Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti has stated that popular blogger, Tunde Ednut wanted him to be jailed when he was arrested by the police.

NAIJALOADED recalls that the singer was arraigned before the Lagos State magistrate’s court and detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, in Panti, Yaba, for physically assaulting a police officer. He was later released after spending days in detention.

Seun during an Instagram live session on Tuesday, revealed that the celebrity blogger wanted him to go to jail because he was owing him money for nine posts, and was actively pushing for him to be sent to prison because he could not refund the money.

He said,

“I hear everybody saying Tunde did not like me. Tunde actually is the only blogger I talk to in Nigeria and also has my number.

And did you know why he wants me to go to jail?Because Tunde is owing me money.

“He was supposed to do 10 posts for me since two years ago but he did only one, and he knew that my new project will soon be out.

He must do that post. In fact it has increased to twenty posts. So because of those nine posts he wants to do me what Sacoche did to Gaddafi.”

My Wife Respects Me But I Am Scared Of Her – Seun Kuti Refutes Rumours

Seun Kuti, a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, has finally responded to allegations that he physically and verbally assaulted his wife.

NAIJALOADED reports that this comes after Seun was heard screaming at his wife in a viral video during his altercation with a police officer, leading many Nigerians to speculate that the singer’s wife is a victim of domestic violence.

Defying the claims, Fela Kuti’s son, during a recent Instagram live session with fans, stated that his wife is not afraid of him, but rather that he is afraid of her.

Those close to his family, he claims, can attest to the fact that he is the one who is afraid of his wife.

Seun Kuti pointed out that those spreading rumors are envious of a man talking to his wife, and she listened.

He also stated that he has never hit his 9-year-old daughter.

The singer said;

The most important rumour I must dispel, is the one they said that I’m beating my wife. They said I screamed at her to get into the car and she went into the car.

That she is scared of me. My wife is not scared of me. Trust me, if you know anybody that knows us, I’m the one that’s scared of my wife. But my wife respects me.

And I know that many of you Nigerian men were just jealous to see a man that can talk to his wife and his wife would listen. That’s the problem. It’s jealousy.
