The Grammy Award-winning global superstar, Burna Boy, has once again made history with his sold out show at 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺. The feat marks the Nigerian performer as the first African artiste in history to headline and sell out a stadium in the 𝗨𝗦.

The showman commanded a crowd of more than 40,000 fans, including celebs like 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗵𝘆𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗦𝗭𝗔, 𝗡𝗕𝗔 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮, 𝗡𝗙𝗟 star 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗷𝗼𝗯𝗶, and British rapper 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗲, who also joined 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮 on stage for a special performance of their hit song “𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.”

Highlights included a performance of his newest single, “𝗦𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻’ 𝗢𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗢𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱,” a sneak peak of his unreleased track “𝗕𝗶𝗴 7,” and an explosive finale where the crowd belted every word to the star’s massive hit “𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁” while fireworks lit up the sky.

Last year, the African Giant became the first African musician to sell out the world-famous 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻. Earlier this year, he sold out London Stadium, performing to a staggering 80,000 fans. In 2021, 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝘆 became the first Nigerian artiste to win a 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 in an album category, taking home 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗺 for ‘Twice As Tall.’ His 2022 follow-up, 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶, became the highest charting album by a Nigerian artiste.
